The Power of Recognition is in Your Hands . . .

Think of the great people who have made a dramatic difference in your professional life—the ones who are key to your success and to the success of your organization. They inspire you, set the pace for performance, and can be counted on to help you find the right path. Now ASAE & The Center are counting on you to nominate these outstanding leaders in the association community for our three highest honors:

The Key Award honors the association CEO who demonstrates exceptional qualities of leadership in his or her own association, and displays a deep commitment to voluntary membership organizations as a whole. This year's winner will become part of the award's rich heritage of recipients who have been recognized since 1960.

The Professional Performance Award recognizes the invaluable contributions made by association executives who are at the top levels of their organizations, but are not CEOs. These executives distinguish themselves every day and deserve an honor for exceptional contributions to their associations, as well as our entire profession.

For more than 25 years, The Academy of Leaders Award has been given to industry partners and consultants who demonstrate exemplary support of the association community. The award recognizes an individual who represents an organization engaged in the sale of products or services to members of ASAE & The Center and who has made especially outstanding contributions to the advancement of the profession.

This is your opportunity to help us give the highest praise and recognition to the people you admire and count on. You are limited to one, special nominee for each award. Please send your nominations no later than April 23rd to Peggy Dowd, pdowd@asaecenter.org. The Awards Committee will meet June 22nd and make its selections.

The Key, Professional Performance and Academy of Leaders honorees will be recognized at the Annual Meeting and Exposition in Los Angeles, August 20-24, 2010.
